application directions & Qualifications
THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS ARE WHAT MAKES “STUNTPHONE.COM” AND “THE STUNT PHONE BOOK” THE MOST RESPECTED STUNT references used by Stunt Coordinators and Casting Directors. Please read the following and agree before filling out the application.
You must be a SAG or AFTRA member in good standing to be on the site. No Exceptions. You must be 18 years or older to be in the men or women's sections. If you are under 18 you must apply in the kid section. See below for those directions. You must have had at least 5 Stunt SAG/AFTRA stunt contracts to be on the site. There will be some exceptions to this rule depending on references and past work experience. These exceptions are at the sole discretion of Stuntphone.com. Each exception will be handled on a case by case basis. If you do not meet the requirements above and would like to be considered for the site, please write a detailed email to Info@stuntphone.com including work history and references.
If you are an Actor and think that being on “Stuntphone.com” will help you get more work as an actor you are wrong. This site is not for you. There are plenty of websites and publications catering to actors that you can apply for. In other words: If you take a stunt job and are worried about getting a scratch on your face because it might hurt your acting career, then this site is not for you. This is an important point. This site is a tool for Stunt Coordinators and Casting Directors to find Stunt Performers and Stunt Performers who can act, not actors who can or want to do Stunts.
There is a kid section on this site. If you are under 18 this section is for you. Many Coordinators need younger kids, especially in commercial work, to do special abilities. For example....trampoline, skateboards, swimming, bike riding and so on. If you are a Stunt Professional and you have kids that fit this description and they are a paying members of SAG/AFTRA you can apply to the site for them. All you have to do is hit the yes button next to the word "Kid" at the top of the application on the following page. You must put in their birth date. This will let coordinators know that they are under 18 years of age. If you are a working Stunt Professional and you are a paid member of the site, your kids application will be free. Otherwise, you will need to pay for the kids application.
The application on the following page must be filled out completely. After you fill out the application and pay, we will review your application and send you an email with directions on how to use the site. If you accept these terms, fill out an application and pay, and you do not meet the requirements above, or you are not one of the exceptions, there will be no refunds. So please be honest.
